Mold core material

The material of the mold core is divided into six types: polycrystalline diamond, highcrystalline diamond,CD diamond, nano diamond CVD coating, mold steel, and hard alloy.

1) Polycrystalline diamond: With a diamond content of 85%, it is used for drawing metals with high drawing speed and strict tolerances. Its tool life is 10 times that of hard alloys, and its cost-effectiveness is high. It is mainly used for drawing copper wire, aluminum wire, iron wire, and cable twisted wire, and is a widely used mold.
(2) High quality diamond: With a diamond content of 90%, it is mainly used for pulling and pulling metals with high drawing speed, strict tolerances, and high surface quality requirements, such as copper wire, aluminum wire, iron wire, etc. on high-speed drawing machines.
(3) CD diamond: With a diamond content of 96%, it has conductive properties that are conducive to electrical machining and cutting. It is mainly used for the drawing of irregular molds such as triangles, squares, rectangles, arches, flats, and trapezoids
(4) Nano diamond CVD coating: With a diamond content of 100%, it is a type of material that combines the high strength and toughness of hard alloys with the super wear resistance of natural diamonds. It has an extremely high smoothness, reaching 8-25 nanometers, and is suitable for drawing metal materials with extremely high surface quality and minimal tolerance. This mold is energy-saving, saves drawing gold black materials, and saves labor. It is mainly used for pulling copper wire, aluminum wire, high/ultra-high voltage cable twisted wire, flame retardant cable compression, aluminum tube, aluminum-plastic tube, copper tube, CO2 welding wire, stainless steel tube, precision tube, etc
(5) Hard alloy molds: mainly used for drawing molds with low drawing speed, large tolerances, and small quantities of each type or with a straight diameter of more than 30 millimeters, or for drawing metals with a hardness higher than the diameter. Hard alloy fittings such as 195, 235, 35K, 45 # metal wires, pipes, and materials are generally selected for drawing
(6) Mold steel: mainly chromium 12 H13、 40 chromium, 42 chromium molybdenum, 38 chromium molybdenum aluminum: used for cable extrusion, rolling, cable support, copper aluminum extrusion, etc.
